Turn the Page: Tips and Text for These Times

Turn the Page is a fun-filled evening exploring our feminine voices through Biblical, Talmudic, prophetic, medieval and modern women in the company of other Jewish women.

Come connect, enjoy dinner and an exceptional keynote speaker and participate in learning sessions led by a variety of female educators. We invite you to join Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, and women of all ages and backgrounds, as we embark on a meaningful, fun-filled evening of Jewish learning.

Israel Night at the Seattle Jewish Film Festival

Israel Unplugged, a proud sponsor of the acclaimed film, Jaffa, invites all community members to support American Jewish Committee Wednesday evening, March 17, at 9:15 PM (Siff Cinema - McCaw Hall). This 2009 Israeli film modernizes the popular story of Romeo & Juliet in this contemporary, multi-ethnic complex adaptation of star-cross’d lovers.

Join Us for a Special Lag B'Omer Celebration!  

Please celebrate Lag B’Omer, a day of freedom and festivity, with us on Sunday, May 2. Herzl Ner Tamid will host Maccabia games along with a barbecue and a bonfire for the whole family from noon until 3:00. Then, at 3:00, come over to the Stroum JCC to enjoy a special free performance from the Art City Dancers, a troupe of teenage dancers from Kiryat Malachi, Israel.
