The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle strongly condemns the recent rash of terror attacks in Israel. We are horrified at these indiscriminate attacks that resulted in the murder of four innocent Israeli civilians. We send our sincere condolences to their families.
The victims include parents cruelly shot to death in front of their four young children, seriously injured civilians, police and soldiers, and the community gripped by fear as a result of the recent wave of shootings, stabbings, Molotov-cocktail attacks and rioting.» Read More

The disgusting series of Jew-hating tweets that Fox News commentator Ann Coulter made during the Republican presidential candidate debate last Wednesday night are offensive and unacceptable. Ms. Coulter's obscene comments correlating support for the U.S.-Israel relationship with the anti-Semitic canard that Jews "control" the U.S. government and care more about Israel than the U.S. are as reprehensible as they are false.

In response to today’s announcement of an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program, the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle issued the following statement:
We respect and commend the hard work that Obama Administration negotiators put forth towards concluding a deal to close off Iran's pathways to developing nuclear weapons. However, we are deeply concerned about the final agreement and seriously question whether the agreement can achieve the fundamental goal of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.» Read More
