Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle

The Jewish Day School [JDS] offers a richly integrated, child-centered curriculum of general and Judaic studies for students in Preschool through 8th Grade. The school provides academic excellence, promotes spiritual growth and prepares students to become inquiring, compassionate Jewish leaders in the community and the world.

JDS students study language arts, social studies, math, science, Hebrew language, Torah, tefillah [prayer], mitzvot [commandments] and the history and culture of Israel and the Jewish people. Specialists in Music, Art, Physical Education and Library Skills work closely with students and faculty to enrich the core curriculum.
