Washington State Jewish Historical Society

The Washington State Jewish Historical Society [WSJHS] seeks to ensure the rich Jewish history of the state of Washington is preserved. They accomplish this by creating oral histories, collecting personal papers, organizational records, photographs, and other materials appropriate for the Jewish archival collection, housed at the University of Washington.

In addition, the WSJHS runs programs, creates interactive exhibits and involves the community with our rich and unique history. It is the vision of the Historical Society to establish a Jewish Museum in the greater Seattle area.
