PJ Library® & PJ Our Way™

Connecting Families to Jewish Stories & Community in Puget Sound

Something magical happens when you read stories together as a family. PJ Library Seattle turns those special moments into the foundation for Jewish life. Join other families as we explore traditions, celebrate holidays, and build community across Jewish Puget Sound.

What is PJ Library?

PJ Library gives families with young children a welcoming entry point into Jewish life. Every month, PJ Library sends award-winning books celebrating Jewish values and culture to families with children ages 6 months to 8 years.

For kids ages 9 to 12, PJ Our Way sends books the kids choose to meet their developmental interest in expanded independence. There is also a kid-friendly online platform for kids to share book reviews, read others, and create other content to share in the PJ Our Way community.

All free of charge.

What do parents have to say?

I just wanted to thank you sooooo much for the Hanukkah box we received. The kids have had a blast working on all the projects and the menorah is beautiful! It has definitely added to our family’s Hanukkah celebration and we will be able to use the menorah for years to come! What a wonderful program PJ Library is offering the community.

We love PJ Library for how it helps us to teach Ari about our traditions and is even helping us reconnect and relearn along the way. Thanks for the important work you are doing for our community.

PJ Library Grandparents

Grandparents play an important role in the lives of their grandchildren. They pass down tradition and heritage through the values they’ve taught their children and the family history they share with future generations. Below are resources to help you support your grandkid(s) on their Jewish journeys.
