The PJ Library®: An Early Start to Building a Jewish Future
Everything that happens during the first five years of a child’s life shapes who they become as adults. That’s why the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle is offering an age-appropriate opportunity to help strengthen your child’s Jewish identity: The PJ Library!
When you sign up for The PJ Library (PJ is for pajamas), we'll send you a FREE, high-quality book or CD each month. Regardless of your level of observance or affiliation, the gift of stories and song is sure to enrich your entire family's Jewish journey. Book topics include holidays, traditions, family values, Jewish identity and Jewish heroes. The books are carefully selected by top national Jewish educators, with an eye on books that are joyful, highly engaging, and representative of the best Jewish children's literature available.
A two-year membership is free for children living in greater Seattle (King and South Snohomish counties), but space is limited, so fill out the registration form today! If you live outside of the Greater Seattle area, gift subscriptions are available for $60 and can be purchased at www.pjlibrary.org.

- “We love being a part of PJ Library®. Each month when the new book arrives we excitedly open the envelope and immediately read it with our daughter. Teaching her about upcoming Jewish holidays through these books is a fun and engaging way for her to learn.”
- “This has been a tremendous addition to exploring Jewish books and values in our household. It has sparked conversations that we probably would not have had...the books do help me engage the children in conversations about religion. My husband, their father, is not religious...and not Jewish...but it has sparked my interest to talk to him about religion...and consequently we recently joined a temple and placed the kids in Sunday school to further their education.”
- “This program is clearly having a positive impact on our children and contributing to their understanding of Jewish lore and customs. Keep them coming, please!”
