Passover begins at sundown on April 12, 2025, and ends at nightfall on April 20. During the 8 days of Passover (7 days in Israel), we celebrate the emancipation of the Hebrews from Egyptian slavery by eating matzah (unleavened bread) and maror (bitter herbs), while chametz (leaven) is strictly avoided.
From the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, we’d like to wish you and your loved ones a meaningful Passover! May your holiday be filled with tradition, joy, and a deep sense of freedom and reflection.
Families with kids of all ages are invited to this hands-on Passover experience. Mix, knead, and bake your own matzah, just like in a real bakery! Brought to you by Chabad NW Seattle, the Federation and PJ Library.
Get ready for a joyful and engaging Passover with PJ Library’s ultimate guide! From crafts and recipes to seder tips and kid-friendly activities, we’ve got everything you need to celebrate.
