Dara Horn is a celebrated author and scholar whose work has garnered significant acclaim for its exploration of Jewish history, identity, and contemporary issues. Her bestselling book, People Love Dead Jews, delves into the complexities of Jewish life and memory, challenging readers to rethink their understanding of history and identity.

Horn’s incisive writing and compelling storytelling have earned her numerous awards, including two National Jewish Book Awards. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Harvard University and has taught courses in Jewish literature and culture at Sarah Lawrence College and Harvard.
