To our Seattle community:

Like many of you, we are closely following, with grave concern, the news that once again Israel has come under attack, this time by drones and missiles launched from Iran. This dramatic escalation by Iran represents the first attack by a sovereign nation against Israel in more than 30 years, and we condemn this attack in the strongest possible terms.

We know you join with us in sending our support to our friends and families in Israel, especially the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces on the front lines. We are grateful for the statements of support for Israel from many leaders of the United States and other allies. We strongly urge the international community to condemn this Iranian aggression and stand with Israel during this critical time.

Locally, our communal security program, SAFE Washington, is closely monitoring the situation at home and has been in touch with organizational leadership across our community with recommendations for increased vigilance.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide regular updates, as needed, to our community in the coming days.

We pray for the safety of all those in Israel.
