When the unthinkable happened on October 7, the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) stepped up to provide direct aid to Israel.

The attached 2024 Impact Report showcases the remarkable achievements made possible by your generosity and the support of Federations across North America. Across the Federation system, including from Seattle, JFNA has raised $833 million and allocated $433 million to 520 Israeli NGOs, representing over 50% of the funds flowing from global Jewry to Israel, highlighting our community’s collective strength and solidarity.

Thanks to Stephanie & David Shujman and Karin & Hart Cole, who co-chaired Seattle’s Israel Emergency Fund Campaign, for helping our community contribute to this critical effort. Your contributions have been vital in addressing urgent needs and supporting long-term recovery efforts across various sectors. Here are some highlights of what we’ve accomplished together:

  • Lifeline Services: $219 million allocated to 395 NGOs providing essential aid such as food, shelter, and clothing to evacuees and victims.

  • Medical and Trauma Relief: $101 million supporting emergency medical services, mental health support, and long-term rehabilitation.

  • Economic Relief & Recovery: $77 million to help struggling businesses and provide economic assistance to displaced Israelis.

  • Community Resilience & Rebuilding: $36 million to empower communities, rebuild infrastructure, and strengthen societal bonds.

Your generosity has made a profound difference, and as needs evolve, the impact of your support continues to grow.
